Question on Selling

I'm interested in selling my old phones that just sit in the closet, However I have a question/concern. I did a factory reset on the old phones, Yet when I go into the About Phone menu, On the sub category that shows signal, phone number, etc...It still shows my phone number up top.. My questions or concerns are.

A) Is there a way to clear my number?
B) Is this even an issue?
C) Will it activate like a new phone for whoever buys it?

Sorry for the dumb questions, I'd rather just know for sure before I sell anything.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Larzuk.

you will need to contact virgin about it, when i sold one of my older phones i transferred my number to a different phone and the old phone still had a clean ESN, make sure you tell them that you dont want that line anymore and to deactivate it afterwards make sure it is ready to activate for another user

It's not really an issue nor is there a need to contact VM. As long as whoever buys the phones creates new accounts with VM, then your number in the About Phone section will be replaced with their new number as soon as the phone is activated by a new owner.

Just be sure when you sell it that you let potential buyers know that the phone(s) is/are no longer under warranty. The warranty only covers the original owner that first activated the phone (which would be you). They will be responsible for paying for future repairs, if needed, out of pocket.
