Question regarding Google Music...

Hey guys, Ive been rocking Google music since It was first released and I love the app. It saves me space and streaming has never been easier. With that said, I like to use an alternative music app(PlayerPro) to play my music that I put on my "SD card"(Its the Galaxy Nexus) just because I like the aesthetic value more than Gmusic. I recently put a new CD on my computer and Google Music streams it perfectly, but I would like to have that CD on the SD card to use in PlayerPro. I selected "make music available offline" through Gmusic and everything apparently downloaded fine. Now when I go into PlayerPro and I cant seem to find the album. Does music downloaded through Gmusic, only able to be played through Gmusic or have I just lost something in translation?

I know I am able to hook my USB cable to my computer and just transfer the items manually but this feature would prove invaluable when Im not near my computer.

The music you download is in a specific folder that your other music app probably doesn't scan. Go to your 'sdcard' and then Android (it's a folder) > data > com.google.android.music > and you should find your music in there somewhere (it's not going to be named properly). Copy that folder into something like /sdcard/music and your application should find it.

Awesome, so does that mean each time I want to download off Gmusic, it will go right into that folder and then be read by PlayerPro?

Google music Importer app in the market. Allows you to stream your music or save to your phone for offline use. Also allows you to use almost any music player you want.
