Help Question regarding updates

Hello there

Have just got myself the HTC one X after being with Apple for a good few years and must admit am so far very happy.

I'm not sure if this is an issue so bear with me

On a branded 3 UK version and got the update a couple of days ago, and downloaded & checked software had changed from 1.26 to 1.28 which it had, and so all good.
Checked my downloads today, and clicked on the update file and I was told that the file couldn't be found, odd! So let it run again, and file now said complete. Clicked on file again and I suddenly had a list of 672 files, and with the option to extract all!
Clicked on first file (firmware. Zip) and it said 'this archive is corrupted'.

To be honest haven't really noticed a great improvement since I done the update.

Do you think my phone has an issue?

I thought I'd responded the other day, apologies :o

To me, it sounds as though you've downloaded and installed the update, then redownloaded it again from the download menu. Is there a file on your SD Card called Update.zip or PJ46IMG.zip? As part of the update process, the update file is deleted once you've updated but because you've redownloaded and not updated, the file is still on your SD Card and can be deleted.

As stated in original post, I only re-ran it as I was told that the files couldn't be found.

I've had a look for the files you have suggested, but can't find them!

Also, if the update had ran succesfully, I wouldn't have saw the update sitting as 'uncomplete' in my downloads file?
 
I'm not sure why it would still be sitting as incomplete in the downloads, Maybe it had tried to download once and failed? If you're running 1.28 at the moment, there shouldn't be anything to worry about.
 
Ok - Ive deleted it from my downloads and as software says version 1.28.771.9 I'll just go with it.
