I am in the market for a new phone and I was thinking of the HTC Hero. I currently have a HTC touch Cruise and I have been happy with it so far. However, a couple of things make me uncertain about going with Android phone right now.
1. I read on the android market wiki that marketplace apps are only available for people in certain countries and that Google will not be releasing it the missing countries in the future. I live in Switzerland and that is not one of the supported countries. Is there any way for me to still get the apps?
2. My banking and Investing sites (especially investing sites) have apps that are built for Iphone or WM phones. Since Windows Mobile apps do not run on Android, I guess I am screwed here until sometime that android hits critical mass - but I do not think it will sky rocket like the iphone did
What is currently the best Android phone? I only know of the HTC Hero as the newest iphone competitor and the reviews say the performance is sluggish since it is using older hardware.
