I feel as though these issues would be common enough that I could find the answers quickly, but for some reason my searches came up short.
1. How do I change the *default* alarm tone?
I frequently use Google voice commands to set my alarms. The ability to do so without requiring any additional interaction is very convenient. However I'd like to change the default tone so I don't have to set the alarm and then go in and change it each time. If I have to, I'll go in and actually swap out the audio file itself but I'd prefer a less invasive method. EDIT: So, even though I'm rooted, I was unable to copy any files to the folder where the alarm tone OGG resides. I'm not sure why. I was able to rename the files inside of it, but I cannot write new files to it.

Sometimes I don't hear the alarm right away. I actually missed an alarm today because of this "silencing" thing. I want the alarm to continue sounding until I interact with it.
