Quick Desk Beta!

Neat concept - I like the idea, since the home key often kills your app when you exit out to the main desktop screen....if this could prevent that from happening (doubtful for now) then it will truly become a beneficial app.

I wonder how well it plays with ADW.Launcher or LauncherPro? :D

If you load the app it brings you through a quick tutorial and ADW and LauncherPro are two launchers that appear in the examples. I tried it and it worked EXACTLY as advertised. The only issue I had was that it seemed to make LauncherPro run slower.

Interesting side note about this app...it's made by the same Dev behind both of the Helix launchers. Considering neither appears in his tutorial I'm wondering if it means the end of them.

Or, better yet, it is something that is is going to include natively in his launchers....

That would be the logical assumption since he isn't showing screen shots of the Helix launchers.

I hadn't thought of that. But it does make sense. And it might explain why Helix seems to have disappeared. Perhaps he's putting together something new that will encorporate this new feature?

Quick Desk Beta is good, but Power Strip has a nicer UI. Power Strip works very well with ADW launcher.
I have QDB and PS installed on my phone and I am using less screens, When from 7 to 2.

This definitely needs a bump. I'm just finding out about this... and my god, I do believe I've found the holy trinity: LauncherPro, FolderOrganizer and QuickDesk.

My current problem is now I don't know what to fill the QuickDesk screen with! Oh what a great problem to have :')
