Help Quick drawer icons greyed out

smallclone

Well-Known Member
Hi,

I have recently bought a new phone (Samsung Galaxy S10). Woken up this morning and all the quick drawer icons are greyed out. Restarted a few times but no change. WiFi and mobile data seems ok though. I thought it was connected to whatsapp not working but that seems to be a larger whatsapp malfunction globally. I've changed themes, and tried looking for rogue apps but nothing.

Any ideas? Pic attached.

Thanks android community.

They all look Grey...
So you can't toggle them on or off?
Reboot the device.
If that doesn't work factory reset the device

On further inspection, the functionality of each icon doesn't actually appear to be broken. They can toggle and I have wifi etc. It's just that they were all blue a few hours ago. Now they are not. I guess I can live with it. Just a weird colour scheme.

There are settings for that. Pull down the shade, click on the little gear, choose display, styles, then choose your color theme for that...

This is an odd situation. Have you tried going into the Settings menu and using Clear cache for the One UI app itself? One UI is Samsung's default launcher, the service that manages and maintains how the Home screen, app icons, and such appear.
