Help quick gallery question?

Still new to this.. But is there any way to arrange the folders inside the photo gallery? Or make a new folder and easily import within the the phone, or would I need root access for that? Is there any kind of file manager for an unrooted phone to achieve this? Would LOVE to root, but definitely doing my homework and research on this while still enjoying the stock phone! It seems a little more complicated than jailbreaking an iPhone with basically with 2 steps! Thanks to anyone who replies.

Basically the way the gallery app identifies the photo categories is by which folder they are stored in. You could use an app called ES File Explorer to re-arrange them, but this could become a bit of convoluted process. The easiest way to do it would be to connect the phone to your PC (assuming you have one), mount it as a disk drive, and then move stuff around as you want to. I would still recommend you get ES File Explorer though as it's a pretty handy app.

Yes, to arrange mainly with creating new folders and moving pics arround you might do it when you'd connected to the PC by USB.
OK, I'd use EStrongs File Explorer on the phone for this

And then you'd install QuickPic as pic viewer.
It's better than the stock gallery and is able to copy/move pics arround

Thanks guys. Quick pic + file browser did the job perfectly! I'm really impressed with the community inside this forum.. answers are quick and legit.. every other forum I've been a member with the people are smarta**es.. don't know if they thought they were funny or just didn't take anything serious. Hope this site keeps up the great work.
