Ok I've been searching for the last hour and half and not quite found the answers I was looking for so apologies if this has been answered but I did look

I just had to factory reset my phone bc of 3G probs....now that is working and i am reloading everything back.

1 How do I get rid of this text again on the lock screen "Long press to Drag /Drop?

2 On the Dock, I clicked to have notification count for SMS, email, and calls show on the dock. For some reason it is not working....thoughts?

Apprech whatever you can suggest.

I'm using LauncherPro and I don't see my lock screen saying anything about 'Long press to drag/drop'. If the options for showing counts are all checked, I'm not sure what the issue would be there. My suggestion is to uninstall and reinstall launcherpro.

Sounds like your talking about widget locker in the first press. Long press to drag the widget off and replace it with something else.

The second one, make sure the icons are connected to a program. You may not have set the defaults yet.

You are totally right....mental slip! Tyvm...now that you say it, I remember that from before.

I thought that they were connected automatically??? What must I do?

Since you just did the hard reset all your defaults got wiped out so you need to set them again.

set them again by holding the icon and a popup will appear. another cool thing is that you can also set a swipe gesture action. meaning if you have one icon as "Call", you can also set a swipe gesture action of Handcent. so when you swipe the "Call" icon, it goes to handcent.

Tried that, popped up was "edit dock shortcut" with
1 change shortcut
2 change icon
3 Swipe gesture action

I don't see change prefs or anywhere to make sure it is linked to show notifications on the dock.

BTW, if i hit any of those icons, I will be brought to that action...sms, call or email. But no notifications are showing.
