Quick poll: How many of you ditching the Esteem for the S3 when it comes out?

I am guessing that the price on the S3 is going to be high but man I have to admit I am tempted. My Esteem is working well for the most part but the battery life is pretty bad even with the extended battery. It is bulky too.

True that Mike.. I also bought a Nexus 7 to get a lil taste of the Jelly Bean and can't put the thing down, but I digress...

Galaxy S3 will be nice too!

But the coolest thing besides a bad ass phone is Metro is putting in place a third party finance company that will finance your 500$ phone for 10% down if you can provide the proper proof on employment. So that's certainly a perk for us poor folk.

Yeah, but it's $279 with rebate now. I got mine for $300 with rebate just 6 months ago. The piece of sh** lightray is over $300 & it's not selling at all.

I'm probably ditching my esteem for the s3 very soon. I'm proud to say i've had my esteem for a year now and it's been flawless. Because of all the waiting on the s3, I've been spending money on more important things like bills and gas so I might be buying this thing late cus that's a alot of moolah right there on a phone. Might ask my bro for a slight loan or something

Exactly in 6 months a phones price dropped 30 dollars. In the first 6 month time span of the esteem, the price actually went up from when it came out. Is it worth waiting 6-8 months for a minor price drop which is still not very likely since the s3 will still sell well at the estimated price point?

The light ray is very overpriced. I am going to wait a little bit and might buy the S3 on Christmas.

I'm actually ditching mine tomorrow. Finally found a buyer on craigslist for my Esteem for $160 but that's probably cause I'm including extended battery, 4gb sdcard, & bodyglove case. Didn't go the eBay route cause they take 12% of whatever you sell it for when you factor in how much Paypal charges you, and then shipping cost on top of all that. Bleh.
