Quick question about scratches

My screen protector is getting a little old and I'm trying to figure out if I need a new one or if the screen of the One X pretty good when it comes to scratches. Anyone not using a protector care to comment on the durabilityof the screen in the pocket with change and keys?

I don't have any big scratches on the screen, but I do have a bunch of small ones. I never keep it in a pocket with anything else, so i guess it's been mostly dust or small flecks of stuff scratching the screen.

Cheap screen protectors from Amazon 69 pence for 5
I change one every month or so
So no worries
They do not look that great when the phone is off but once screen is on i don't notice..

I'd rather not take the risk too. As Steve points out, if you get cheapos and you have to change them every month, it's less of a pain than having to look at the screen with scratches on it.
