Help Quick Question, n00b user?

Lurker
Right, i've never had an Android before. I'm getting my SGS3 this week and would like to know a few things:

How do I transfer music and videos and such from my mac to my S3, and is it easy?

I have bought it already so will I have to upgrade to Jelly Bean, and how do I do that on my mac?

Finally, does the S3 have a slot for the 'C' pen made by Samsung, or does the official flip case?

Thanks for any replies in advance,

You can seamlessly transfer files from Mac to Android with programs like iSyncr or Double Twist.

The update, if not already on the phone, will prompt you on the phone to update to 4.1, nothing involving your computer.

I really do not think it has a slot for this "C Pen", sorry.

Hope the other information is useful though :)

You can use Android File Transfer to give you a drag and drop interface for you mac (I use it and it works fine).

For your update, you can either get it over the air by going to Settings > About Phone > System Updates, or you can install Kies on your mac and plug your phone in and check from there. (This is usually the quickest way)

Moved to General section :)
