Simple question. I am on Verizon Wireless and got Snapchat. I only have a 4g/3g data plan, NO SMS/MMS plan. Will I be charged for sending snaps since they are pics? I notice on their site it says, "Allows the app to send SMS messages. This may result in unexpected charges. Malicious apps may cost you money by sending messages without your confirmation." Thank you very much!
 
I wish I had a concrete answer for you but just hypothesis: based on the permissions it would seem that it needs to send over your SMS usage. Have you taken up the question with the forum on the app designer's web site?
