K so I messed with Rom Manager market version when I should not have, and the phone's dead. Problem is, idk if its hard bricked or soft brick. So Imma have to ask the pros this.
So my Ace:
-Used Rom Manager->bricked
-wont turn on screen(not even back-lit)
-not recognizable by pc
these r the facts tht leads me to think its hard bricked.
YET
-it charges fine, tested with wall AND pc
-somehow, when i plug the phone in and pressed the combo for recovery, PC actually recognized(Samsung CDMA blah blah), Odin did too. But obviously could not flash cos its not downloading mode.
So now im just confused. No back-lit screen generally means hardbricked, but charging works and pc at some point recognizes.
I have 2 possible ways of fixing this Ace. 1-turn to Samsung Support, 2-use a USB JIG.
method 1 WOULD cost me at least $50(shipping is well over $20)
a USB JIG would be about $10, plus it could be used over and over again. BUT it doesnt work on hard bricked phones.
So thts why I need a pro's opinion in this. im just straight up confused.
