Root Quick question

Once decompiled you can find it in res/values/styles.xml

TextAppearance.StatusBar.Clock is what you're looking for ;)

(at least that's where I found it in K Rize's)

Scratch that. I just changed the color code from 33b5e5 to a different one, recompiled, installed and clock is still the same blue clock staring back at me.

Anyone else?

The xml file you are looking for is in res/layout/tw_status_bar

Open and Ctrl+F "com.android.systemui.statusbar.policy.Clock" (or just "clock")

look for line android:textColor and change the color code to your liking

Just made mine Red :D

I too was not able to accomplish this (no computer), but if you flash a version of my ROM, you will see tweakbox.apk along with xposed installer.apk in the app drawer.
you can take them from system/app and use them on the current rom you are running

how to use:
open xposed installer (little green android man)
push Install/Update, then push Reboot
when phone comes back on go back to xposed installer
push modules and put a check in the two boxes next to tweakbox, and/or app settings too
now reboot again to activate it/them

now open tweakbox and push statusbar, put a check in the box next to Clock and choose a color you like from the color grid

you can also change other settings in tweakbox at this time, once you are done.

reboot and you are done
you should have a diff. color statusbar clock color

i use this method because it's easier to use and change between the colors

I'm sorry I did not post this in the op for blue beta, there are other useful tweaks in the box also, my fav. is the option to skip songs by long pressing the volume button while the screen is off

i've been messing around with this app in the market call on{x} i think it's a great app but requires a facebook acount.
but i really think it has potential, with the right recipes
