Quick way to check for updates for all your apps?

Is there a quick way to see what apps need to be updated? Other than Appbrain, it seems to lag behind... =(

Just open up the Market, click the menu button, and select "downloads". Any app that has an update will be at the top of the list. Where it says "installed", it will say "update".

If you're on Android v1.x, or just want a little more info, you can also play around with aTrackDog.

You can also do a manual checkin by going to the phone dialer and typing: *#*#checkin#*#*

if there are any apps to be updated, it should notify you.
