QuickPar or equivalent for Android?

I did a search here on PAR2 and QUICKPAR and found nothing. I download binaries from Usenet. These binaries are commonly checked for completeness and if need be, repair, by using a utility called QUICKPAR. It is made for Windows but can be used on Linux using Wine.

I am wondering if there is a version or equivalent for use on my Droid X. A Google search turns up nothing.

Sorry I can't help; but what would you use it for on your phone? I use newsgroups pretty heavily, but for anything bigger than 10 megs or so it would seem you'd just use your desktop machine?
