Quiet music ringtones

I'm new to Android phones, and have just picked up an Incredible 2. I am trying to use music as my ringtones (Hells Bells and Civil war) but they are so quiet that I'll never hear them. Is this normal or is there a way to fix this? Prior to this my LG flip phone worked fine with music ringtones, so I'm not sure if this is a problem that is specific to this phone. I appreciate any help!
By the way, thanks for the great site!
 
My guess is that the music tracks are recorded quite quietly and so sound much quieter than the stock sounds.

Download audacity and increase the volume of the track
 
Download Zedge and do a search for those songs to use as rigtones. I have never had an issue with volume with these samples.
