This is probably asked manytimes but I still cant find a satisfying answer.
I'm using a galaxy pad 2 whichhas that list down to the left with recently used/open apps. this list get filled up withtons of stuff really fast. If iinstead, when im done with an app had a button to press so theapp closes and dissapears from the list itwould quickly get more managable. this button is what im searching for.
I know open apps dont take much or any memory/cpu in the background, andi know i can remove apps from that list by dragging them to the left. but that means i have to first open another app, then open the app list and remove it. Quite a few steps there when it should be done in 1 click.

so, i simply just want a tidier UI thats not cluttered by apps i used aweek ago becsuse i couldnt close it.

Welcome to Android Forums,

I understand your frustration of having a bunch of apps running in the background. For the most part, most android apps don't have a quit or exit button. Some may give you the option if you hit your phones menu button but most don't. Android is designed so that apps continue running and are terminated as needed.

You just have to close them out manually or you could try an app from the play store that handles it for you.

I hope this information helps but if you need further assistance feel free to post another question using the Guest Questions form or consider registering

Thanks
