theres no way of sharing the ram with the internal memory, i understand what you are refering to, like a ramboost using a memory stick on a pc.
As for reserving battery life, get a good task killer, so theres nothing uncessarily running in the background, have usb debugging on, turn off auto brightness and reduce screen brightness to the minimum, turn off auto syncing.
