Help ram, storage questions

*** edited to correct expected storage sizes ***

Hi, first time poster here. I recently purchased a nexus 10, 32GB model. When I visit settings.apps.running, at the bottom there is an indicator of RAM used and free. Should these two amounts add up to roughly 2GB? On mine they show as 644MB used, 459MB avail. Is this in line with what others see Or am I short?

Also when I visit settings.apps.downloaded, at the bottom there is another indicator of internal storage used and free. Should these two amounts add up to roughly 32GB? On mine they show 1GB and 26GB.

I am wondering because I am seeing some unexpected/undesired behavior with a few apps.

The system reserves like 700-900MB for the graphics chip of system RAM, and 1-2GB for the System ROM. There's also a partition for 512MB of cache or so, etc., so you lose a little space there.

Hi, I have the same behavior with my Nexus 10 16GB.
Is there any official announcement that the device reserved almost 1GB RAM for the graphics?

TIA,

Not really, but with such a high-res screen, and so many effects in the GUI at any given time, it makes sense.
