whenever i check my ram,i find around 140 mb already in use when no app is running. this causes occational lag in my system. is it normal??

Yeah, This is normal. The 140 MB is used by the system components.

Oh thanks. I was quite concerned, if the crores of junk apps i have installed on my system are taking a toll on it..
