i use the android system info app. it usually says i have around 45% to 50% ram,that seems like a lot to me but maybe it isnt.is there a way to free up some ram or is this nothing to worry about.dont know if this matters or not but i do not use any task killer,when i had theris,i tried a task killer and had all kinds of problems. when i got rid of the task killer everything ran fine,so i dont use one on my incredible.

You don't need any Taskkiller. Android has powerful memory management, if more RAM is needed, it frees the memory by closing other applications.
I use the "TaskPanel" taskmanager (its just bad habit from Windows Mobile and Symbian, which don't have memory management) to kill some applications sometimes with no problems.
