Random Acts Of Kindness App

RADMAN

Lurker
OK so there's a list of 100 idea's for kindness on the "random acts of kindness" website
Acts of Kindness | In Your Community
What I'm looking for is an app that will generate a random act of kindness every day for the user to do. If it's not practical for that particular day they reshuffle and choose another one at random and the original goes back into the list, if it is doable, they check it off and it won't come up again until they finish the list and/or reset the list.

So I think this app I found called Droiditarian does pretty much what you are looking for. I don't think it has that shuffle functionality, but you can always see the list of acts of kindness (they call them "good deeds") so you can choose which one to do for the day. It's actually pretty fun because you can see a map of other people doing good deeds.

Here's the app: Droiditarian v1.0 Application for Android | Lifestyle

I wish more people used Droiditarian. It's fun, creative, and it has a map to show where other do-gooders are today... it would be nice to see more do-gooders near me.

There are some good deeds that require a bit of work, but others are simple and you can say "I did that. Check. I did that. Check." And it's a good day.

After seeing your request, I figured making that app would probably qualify as a random act of kindness. So if you search the Android Market for "Random Kindness" you'll find a new app that allows you to select a random act and mark it as complete, skip it for now (to get a new one) or skip it forever (if it's outside of your means).

Enjoy, and let me know what you think,
