RAZR HD and NTFS MicroSDs

hgleobr

Lurker
I just bought a new RAZR HD (I don't have it yet, it will arrive next week) and I just found out that they don't go well with NTFS / exFAT MicroSDs. So I'm stuck with FAT32 and its 4GB maximun file size, and this is really crappy because I really wanted to store HD movies in my microSD.

Is there any workaround, like updating it to JellyBeans, or idk?

I use a 16GB sd in mine. Works fine

Just format using the phone and give it a try. For me the uSD slot is really flakey on the RHDM.

You should be able to compress an HD movie, any movie, to be less than 4 GB and look great on your phone (or an HDTV) if you have knowledge of video processing techniques and a fast PC.
