Help Razr Maxx and Youtube Full Screen

I can't figure out how to keep youtube videos in full screen. I thought just turning the phone to landscape mode like my other phones would put it in fullscreen, but it looks like you have to double tap the screen. The problem is after a couple seconds of playing it resets back to portrait view. What am I doing wrong?

Thats odd uninstall updates and reinstall and then restart phone

That's weird, I've never had that problem.
