Razr Maxx for Razr M

So my boyfriend has had the Razr Maxx for a while, paid $200 for it at the time. Since then he has had to exchange it 4 times. First time it was a problem with a really bad lag with going to basic apps like texting/calling (No he does have a third party app for it). 2nd time the camera stopped working, 3rd time the slot for the SIM card kept rejecting the card. Then the last one was just running really really slow...

So I asked Verizon what our options were other than exchanging it for yet another Razr Maxx, and they said they could only do an exchange for the Razr M.

So for forum users that have used both..what are the major differences as a user?

If it's the original razr maxx, you're going to notice that it should be a bit smoother since it has newer/better hardware. Battery life may drop a bit due to having a smaller battery, but the newer hardware is more efficient than the one in the maxx. So if they had the same sized battery, the M would last longer. I think the razr M will also feel a bit lighter in the hand and not be as wide.
