its nice to have a phone that isn't so desperately in need of in update. ICS interface is nice, but I have used launcher pro and have switched over to SPB shell 3d and love it, its not cheap but well worth it.

I will say May. April would be nice. Considering the ICS leak for the RAZR was shown before the ICS leak for the HTC Ville and before HTC posted when their current phones will get ICS...it could be sooner than later.

It's no fair that my new razr maxx can't run google chrome and am sure am not the only one mad about this.

You did buy it with gingerbread. They didn't give any date for an ics release. Would you rather a stable working update, or for it to be rushed and broken?

As i've said before, I have received broken updates to my Android phones. They aren't even a little bit fun.

I had the GNex and you will end up with more apps not compatible with ICS than ones that are. Better to wait a few months and by the time ICS goes mainstream, there will be a lot more compatible apps too.

If your within your 14 day evaluation period return it and get the Nexus, you will be able to run your Chrome Browser.

I agree with what I understood in your post. I got lost right at SPB

Spb shell 3d is a launcher. Sort of simulates a different OS. I also use it on the MAXX and it runs great.

I keep seeing people saying that and I have no idea what they're talking about. Can you please give me an example? I have 44 apps installed in my Nexus, none of which are incompatible with ICS.

Try HBOGO or MaxGo, maybe the sirius/XM app too. The USAToday app was updated right before I got rid of the GNex and that didnt work right. I can't remember the others ones anymore.

If at all... I'll most likely be rooted by then. There should be plenty of great ICS roms by then.
