Have an issue with my Droid Razr (first gen) not loading up when I plug it into my computer. I have the latest drivers from here:

My home PC is Win 7 Ultimate 64bit.
I plug it in and either the computer does nothing, or it will try to load the drivers and fail on two of them. MTP USB Device and the USB Mass Storage Device.
I have my phone set to "Mass Storage". I changed it to "Camera (PTP)" and my computer will try to load the drivers again and fail again.
I have reinstalled the drivers several times, rebooted the computer several times, went into the device manager and uninstalled both devices and rebooted only to fail again.
My work laptop the phone works great on. Everything loads fine. So it sounds like it's my home PC.
Another issue is it's happening on my wife's home laptop with her Droid 4.
I have changed USB cables with spares that I know worked in the past and still the same result.
I'm wondering if it's a windows update that is doing this or my registry is corrupted somewhere and I need to delete some keys and then reinstall the drivers.
