RCA Voyager III Photo Help

Barb S

Lurker
I'm in desperate help. I just purchased a RCA Voyager III Tablet and experiencing problems with downloading of photos. RCA customer support is worthless in my opinion. I'm & my son are computer savy & we can't figure out
I'm trying to upload photos to FB. Files are attachments thru email, jpeg files. The photos download fine. They show in download once complete. Once downloaded, if I view in email it shows in gallery, however when I go to upload to FB both gallery & photos app show empty. When I go into file explorer it shows nothing in photos nor internal storage. Have tried several times.
Only thing I can do is a screenshot & crop.
Can someone please.......help. 900% frustrated.

Use a file explorer and check all sub folders, also the DCIM folder, they should be in there somewhere if they've downloaded.
Also Facebook likes to only upload from a certain folder, which is usually the DCIM/Facebook folder, so you may have to copy there first

Thank you for your reply. As I'm not familiar with that location, I did just check and the dcim folder is empty. The sub folders within are empty as well. The only content in the sub folder for Facebook are 3 images in which I downloaded from Facebook this morn. Even the internal storage folder for the Android is empty

I just don't get it! NEVER have had this problem with ANY device I've had. Which is many of tablets, cell phones etc. And as mentioned, customer support had no clue

Take the 3 images and copy to the DCIM Facebook folder. Now when you try to upload they should show up if you're using the Facebook app.
If all else fails use a web browser on Facebook and upload your images using that.

Perhaps I have more issues because I'm not able to copy the images, typically could just hold down on photo and would get various options as to what I want to do with photo. Here it just zooms in. Then only options are set as, details, or print. What's odd though is when I hit the actual download it opens with gallery!
And sorry for lack of knowledge I'm not familiar with how to upload using web browser on Facebook! Thanks so much for all your suggestions. Just frustrates!

So I'm not that computer savy. I downloaded a new file manager app. So what would be the next step? Typically I download a pic and it would automatically be visible from gallery. But now only way this will work I'd download, take a screenshot, crop the photo then upload to whichever internet site I'm using
