Help Re-ordering notication bar settings?

I really like the ability to change settings in the notification bar but was wondering if anyone knew of a way to rearrange the order that the icons appear as mobile data is probably the one I use the most but I have to scroll across every time I want to use it.

At the moment, it cant be done. I know with a rooted phone (evan going back to cyanogen mod 6.x) you could choose the buttons in the drop down notification area.

Maybe with the Jellybean update it might be a possibility, but I wouldnt get my hopes up.

You could use the Elixir 2 app to put a home screen widget on, that will change your mobile data setting, or you could use NFC tags. ;)
 
Thank you for your reply. I have downloaded Elixir 2 and it works well but having two lines of switches looks a bit odd.

I guess I'll just have to make do or think about rooting!
 
Does long-pressing the sleep/wake button bring up a menu that includes data services? My Captivate does this and it's handy.

Did you set the switches to go as "ongoing notifications" Or as a widget on your home screen?
