Ok, I had the Samsung Stratosphere and had over 1000 photos saved on my SD card but, my Samsungs screen stopped working so my father let me switch to his older Droid for now. I did quite a few back ups on my SD card on the Samsung before the screen went. After we reset the droid and then put in the same SD card it only shows about 400 of my photos AND all my songs arnt showing up on the droid. Where did my photos go? the 400 photos that are there are just a random selection of my photos, no date order.....please help!
 
It may be that some of your photos and your music was stored in internal memory.

You could try connecting your old phone to a PC using a USB cable: if that works you should be able to find your files, move them to the PC and then onto your new phone.
