Help read report problems

I recently purchased a HTC one m8 and my friend has a sumsung galaxy s4. She is constantly getting read reports from my phone even when I haven't texted her. Sometimes 100+ in a day. Both of our phones have read reports and delivery reports turned off. I've tried everything I can but cannot figure it out. She is the only one who gets them I message a lot of people and none of them have received a single one. Help please!
 
You say she is getting read reports? That sounds like she is receiving confirmation that you read a message she sent. Is that correct? Are you using SMS only, or SMS / MMS or a third party service like Google Hangouts?
 
Sms only. You are correct. It reads "your message to ********** has been read" I'm pretty good with these things normally but just can't figure it out
 
Also, can you check with your, or her account with the carrier to see if messages are actually being sent.
 
I think it is something with iMessage. I've seen it in the past but don't remember the solution. I think it may have to do with desabling the old iMessaging account, but I'm not sure.
