Reading ms word (doc x)

I received a docx file via Yahoo mail. When I try to read it it says it cannot find the application.
I had Basic docx Reader installed and I just installed docx reader, neither of which works. I am wondering what I may still need to do? Do I have to save the word file, then open the reader and search?

Have you tried using Google Docs? It should be able to open and edit .docx files without needing any third party apps. You may need to save the file to your phone and then open it through Docs.
