'REAL' internal storage for the SGS2 (VM)

For anybody that has or has messed with this Samsung device a little, I would really like to know the ACTUAL amount of internal storage that is available to the user and shown when viewed in the 'Settings->Storage' section.

As much as I am really satisfied with my VM HTC Evo V 4G (that only has a total of 1.1 gigs available to me), I am already running of space for my apps (yes, I have put all the apps that I can on my SD card and NO, I don't want to root my phone).

Basically, I'm trying to decide between the 'Victory' and the 'GS II' on VM.

Not true. That is not the amount of space that you have for apps. That is the amount available to the user. Most of that is for pictures, videos, and other stuff like that. From what I've heard & read, there is a much smaller amount partitioned just for apps.

If you mean just for the .apk files, then 1.97GB. I misunderstood you, my apologies
