1 day 15 hours 15 mins 56 seconds......and finally. down to 20% battery life. This with moderate use of internet, games, and navigation. 4 hours of phone calls. No wifi, or smart actions. 4 g all the time. I love this phone!

As do I! I have had ZERO software issues(freezing, rebooting, lag...etc..) and I can go all day without a charge and using it as much as I want. I am testing out a live wallpaper today to see if I can go all day without a charge. Then if it passes that test, I will test it with full brightness. After that, who knows. Maybe see how long it will last with full brightness, live wall paper and screen time out set to NEVER haha. And leave the screen on the whole time. I doubt that it will make it through the day but I am curious as to how long it will last.
This phone is amazing. Only thing that would up the ante is ICS. But I dgaf at this point. It will come when it comes. Giggity!

I haven't had any software or hardware issues, either. I unplug from the charger around 7:30 am and it's usually down to 30% by 10 pm with light/moderate use. Not getting the numbers everyone else here seems to be getting, but I guess as long as I can make it until I go to bed, I'm good. Still beats a standard smartphone.

Perhaps other people's idea of "moderate" use differ from one to another. :o

One thing no one is saying is whether they are on 3G, 4G, both, what percentage of your day is using WiFi, etc.

I'm still experimenting and my numbers are all over the place, but mostly better than what I am used to, for sure.

One stretch I unplugged at 7 am and by 11 pm I was still in the low 40%s. I had gone in and out of wifi at home, work, 3G areas, 4G areas while in the car, etc. while I consider myself a heavy user of my phone: always checking it, using apps, but not a lot of video or any games.

Other times, similar situations, and usage, my phone will be below 30% by 4 pm.

I'm not sure if I should just keep my phone on 3G since I don't really watch videos? Then whats the big deal with 4G?

Im in a 4g fringe area, so it switches between 3g and 4g throughout the day. I dont not use WiFi. Screen brightness is set to "Auto".

ive been trying to "calibrate" the reading for my battery meter, so its accurate. so ive been charging up to 100% and leaving brightness on max, and playing games and streaming YT videos, and ive gotten over a day of battery life... its a great phone lol

The first full day I had my Maxx I gave it a pretty thorough exercise:
- 100% screen brightness
- live wallpaper
- installed and setup 120+ apps
- 3 hours of streaming radio
- pretty significant interface customization (i.e. lots of menu-surfing, tweaking of settings, etc.)
- a handful of phone calls, text messages, some browsing

13 hours later it was still above 30%. No wifi, in a 4G area the whole time.

Another impressive feat was when we drove from Chicago to Kansas City. After 8 hours of driving through rural areas with little or no 3G or 4G coverage (thus, constant tower-hopping and signal churn) I was still at 80%.

This battery is the real deal. I love this phone!

I ended up with 37 hrs and a few minutes of continuous use over the weekend before plugging in with the battery meter still at 30%.

Made several phone calls - about 5 mins each, played angry birds and solitaire a lot and took about 40 pictures. ALso a dozen or so texts.

I'm lovin it!

I have found that my battery discharge time all revolves around the strenghth of my 4G signal. One area I wok has a constant but very weak 4G signal. I can be at 20% after 12 hours with light to no use. In the other area of town I work there is a strong 4G signal. I can use the phone moderate to heavy in the same 12 hour work period and have 60% battery left. I can switch to 3G and still have a fast connection and get 2 days of moderate use on a charge. I have found myself just leaving it on 3G more often than not and just switching to 4G if I am downloading a large file or tehtering.
