Using ver 1.0.76g and when I select TTS as Alert Sound Type I get no verbal warnings. But Default works fine, I get the buzzchime.

so sounds are in RTTraffic/Custom/TTS/*.wav
but I dont hear any of those.

Also program not warning me when exceeding speed limit but keeps cuurent speed limit displayed on screen.

I think you should increase the media volume a bit. Use the volume control keys when Glob is visible that should fix your problem.

You can also try to adjust the Volume setting in Glob Settings that is designed to reduce the volume and will help you to test the volume behaviour.

If it still doesn't work, can send me Logs using "Log Collector" so I can have a look to what's going wrong. Please mail them to support [at] g-lob.com.

I have been using this program regularly with my EVO 4G and now on my EVO 3D.

"Glob traffic" works much better for viewing traffic in the NYC area than the New Google maps dose. The font is two small in the new Google maps. It is also much harder to differentiate between the two red traffic color codes in the New Google maps

But I just got a new EVO View tablet. I cant get Glob traffic in the Android Market Place on the View Tablet for download. Only a few plugins' are available.

Dose any one know how I can get Glob Traffic working on my HTC EVO View Tablet?

For those who have problem to see Glob on the market, I tried to fix this by publishing a new version yesterday.
You can also change Market setting to change the filters as Glob is using GPS, it's considered as special application by Google.

Hi Loick:
Thank you very much. I got your new version working on my EVO View Tablet. It looks great.

Your Glob app has been a life, or Google Maps traffic saver after Google upgraded to Maps 5.0. They made their Navigation and maps work better in many ways; but spoiled the program for watching traffic flow for professional drivers. On Google maps 5.0 the traffic font is to small and it is very hard to differentiate between the two red traffic color codes. I just cant use it safely in the car.

With you Glob app on EVO View tablet I am using the regular font. I can see the detail better with the large 7-inch screen and regular font. On my smaller 4.3-inch HTC EVO 4D, and now 3D version, I use the larger font.

Thanks for responding so quickly to my request for help.

Glob, dont leave home with out it.

Can someone give me their experiences with battery usage? I used Glob on a trip (HTC Aria) in my car (on charge) and after 6 hours found my battery down to 10%. Does Glob use that much power ..... so that charger can not keep up with it.

I had this problem way back and the author told me it shouldn't happen. I haven't run it for a long time lately to notice if it still discharges to zero with the car charger hooked up!! It definately used to do it. HTC Incredible.

I did some tests this morning and I don't have this kind of problem. My battery was charged at 20% and after a 2 hours trip it was at 45%.
Please have look to Glob settings as it could drain your battery if you use zoom level at x16 plus traffic refresh at 1 minute.
I'll do some further tests with any setting that could drain battery and I'll give you the results of my tests.

Thanks anyway for your feedback.

PS: Use charger supplying more than 500mA to be sure it will charge. All my tests are done with a 500mA and 1A chargers.

This app looks great so far, it's only huge weakness I see is no help file or manual in english. I think you'd be much better off to make at least a quick document that at least explains the basic functionality.

What do the traffic line colors mean in terms of actual speed? Are they the same as google maps colors?
