My cricket samsung muve phone froze and when I tried recovery mode it did nothing. Found some info and tried power vol down home then vol up and it's now saying downloading but I'm not expert with tech issues so am I suppose to connect it to a computer
anyone know the next step?

Reflash the firmware - but since you evidently can't do that, take the phone to a shop and have it fixed.
