Rebooting Phone!

I was using my phone one day and it just started restarting. It kept on restarting over and over again. When I plugged in the charger, the phone stopped restarting. What is the problem with the phone and what should I fix?

Hi, was the battery low, did it still not restart after you unplugged it? Phil

The battery was 50% when it started to continuously restart. Once I plugged in the charger, it showed me 50%. After turning on (plugged), I unplugged it, and it took about 20 mins then it's restarting again.

I can turn on the phone normally if I have the charger plugged

Just a possibility but you may have a dodgy battery, do you know anyone who can lend you a known good battery to try, alternatively new batteries are very reasonable. Phil
