Receiving calendar notifications on table only

Why am I receiving my notifications from my phone Galaxy S6 Edge + calendar on my Galaxy tab3?

My tablet sits at home on my wifi and phone goes everywhere I go.

If you have both devices synced to the same calendar account and both have notifications enabled then both will notify you. Turn off notifications on one of them if you don't want this.

Hi Hadron,
Thanks for your comment...
It does not explain why I am *not* getting them on my phone any longer.

I checked settings and the notifications settings on my phone is still turned on...

I don't mind the notifications on my tablet...however not getting the notifications on my phone when I am home or not is bad. Some of the notifications are reminders of upcoming appointments

Try clearing cache: settings/apps/gmail/clear cache. If that doesn't work then uninstall it (it won't lose anything) and reinstall it. You may have to redo some settings but no big deal. I just had to do that because, oddly enough, notifications stopped ;)

Thanks...I'll did not think about the cashe.

I'll attempt this.

Sorry, I answered the post as I understood it, and the text of the post did not include the word "not".

Have you checked notifications are on in the calendar app's settings as well as the general system notifications being on? And if it's running a recent version of Android that you haven't accidentally muted notifications from that app? Unfortunately modern Android versions give you multiple ways of muting apps (I can't say where it started as I skipped Android 6 and 7).

That's ok. Clemini

Thank you both...I ran my usage manager app to clear the cache and double checked the advance settings for notifications, setup a notification for 10hours later.

I received the notification on both on my phone and table.
