Just upgraded from GS3 to GS6. I am in the office at my desk 90% of the time, so I don't need to receive emails on my phone unless I'm out of the office. On the GS3, I had it set up so that I just pushed the "Refresh" circle at the bottom of the email screen to receive emails when I needed to, so I wasn't wasting battery power or time. But the GS6 doesn't have the "Refresh" circle. I've tried setting the sync setting to manual, but that doesn't seem to stop it from receiving emails unnecessarily. I've turned the sync off entirely, but then it doesn't appear to receive emails at all.
In Microsoft office terms, I want to be able to set the Send/receive such that it only Sends/receives when I tell it to without having to go in and make changes to the settings.
