recent update cleared data on calendar how can I retrieve

I have a samsung galaxy s3 and have been keeping important info and track of things in my calendar since the start of the year. I loved using it as I could refer back to may or feb and look up an appointment or other things that have occurred in the past 8 months which I couldn't do with my ipad. Well, just this morning there was an update on my phone and so I did it. I remember it clearly stated you wont lose any data, so I proceeded with the update. Now, the only information in my calendar is from this month of august and the last 3 days of july. How can I retrieve my info?!? Please Help!

You should be able to go to settings->accounts->gmail (or google) and re-sync your calendar info.
