I'd recommend when you do buy one making sure that it is at least dual core. If you don't want lagging video etc then this is a must. I'd also avoid boxes that are 'customized' too much or loaded to the max etc as sometimes they are 'too full' and become unstable.
We stock the X-Player MX2 which runs Android - plays filmon, iPlayer and ITV player and can use a VPN so that you can access UK content overseas but many boxes can do this really.
Minix Neo X5, don't own it but was the 1st winner in the little research i did some time ago. Finally didn't buy an android tv because i was given a WDTV for media streaming in the house
I agree, minix is a good player with online support and rj45.
My box is kimdecent b13 with av output ( i have old tv) and metal case and I like it.
Both of boxes have dual core processors and 1gb ram. Xbmc works smooth.
