Recommend a good chat app!

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good chat app from the Google Play Store. I'm not looking for any, fast sex apps... I just want something with real, honest people for friendship and meet new ppl from around the world. I'm also looking for something for adults and more mature crowd, not teen chat apps.

Sorry I should have been clearer. I'm not looking for a texting app with ppl I already know. I'm looking for a chat app (or chat rooms app?) to meet new ppl...like random chat apps with strangers and to make new friends all over the world. I've looked at quite a few "random stranger" chat apps in the Play Store and tried some but ended up uninstalling because they were everything I am not looking for (silly, immature, fake, sex, etc.).

What? Android Forums has a personal section? Lol seriously though thank you but I didn't know and what do you mean by information displayed in my Android Forums? Sorry for the questions I'm new here and still trying to find my way around:goofydroid: Thanks again!
 
For me ... Internet Explorer under Windows 7 ...

Mouse over my username at top of page and select Personal Details. I then enter my information.

When I select the avatar of any member I can read their details.

There are chat rooms and group discussion on social network like Facebook, did you try it?

Yes but I don't want to join Facebook. I was just looking for a stand-alone chat app in itself...nothing to join or create an account or sign up for.
