Recommend a good DVD writer

can anybody suggest me a good dvd writer for 1k to 1.5k for my pc?
my lg one is dead from some time just ran for 2 months .....

What do you mean 1K to 1.5K?

I've been a fan of Plextor drives for a while now. I put my Plextor DVD/RW drive through hell but it's served me faithfully for over 3 years.

Well, the plextor drive that I have was about 40 bucks I think, which, when multiplied by 45, is a bit over your budget. if you can find a plextor in your price range, go for it. They're tanks.

I think those things are a commodity nowadays. I think even a drive with LightScribe is like $10-20

I currently use an LG 22x DVD +/- R/W and it works fine. The current model is like $15.
