Recording phone call audio

Ok, I downloaded it and gave it permission. How do I get it to record and then how do I play back the recording? How do I make it stop when I'm done?

First of all is the party that's being recorded have full knowledge that they are about to be recorded? Because in some countries or States it is prohibited to record a parties conversations when the other party is not aware that they're being recorded. I just want to make it clear that AF is not affiliated with transmitting any information that will lead to an illegal act.

Well..regardless if the other party is aware or no of currently being recorded..this application will record each and every one of your phone call conversations two ways..I have the app to record ALL of mine..then I have Tasker to put them away periodically into a designated file..I don't care if it's illegal..I have the right to record everything I've said..just that in the process the other party happens to be recorded as well..oopppppssss.

By that being said, opinions are like buttholes everybody got one but at the end of the day, the law is the law and that's what governs Our Land. Oopsies

Where do the files go once they are recorded? How would I find them and listen to them? I'm not sure it's actually recording, either. How do I find out if it is?

Is Tasker free? I know of it, and that's it powerful. How could I use that to help? By the way, the one I got is just called Call Recorder, one recommended by dannydet, the free version, not paid.

It goes into a folder named "call recordings" or something like that in the sd card or storage..
Yes, you have to program your Tasker to deliver that task..my designated folder has all my conversations of this whole year..unfortunately doesn't save them by contact names..but, well you know.

No bro, none of the two are a stock feature..but then again, you can download them..and make them work on your phone according too your needs..

In fact, now you got me thinking..you don't even have to download the call recorder, as long as you have Tasker on your phone, you can set Tasker to record your phone calls..hmmmmm!!!, I'm going to try that way on my §5..so I can delete that other app..

How do I make the one I have, Call Recorder, do its job? It says it's ready to work but as far as I know, it hasn't recorded anything yet. Is there some secret I should know?

Yes!, kind of..the call recorder I have..you have to go into settings..and your recording format has to be in AMR..and you have to turn the recording on

Yes!, it very hard to figure it out..but once you do, then you will find the logic into it and your phone will be truly at your service..I'm still kind of half way because I don't know every single little feature on it..but I do understand it now..
Watch the 101 Tasker and you will find the logic into it..then it becomes so much fun..for me is fun now when I sit to create I task that just pops on my mind And I wonder if the phone can do something I recreate on my mind..it takes a couple of days got the end results..but it's an advantage to have your phone at your service and seeing it delivering and fallow through exactly how you program it every single time..

Go for it!!!

I made sure it's on AMR. I also put it on speakerphone. Is it maybe making recordings and hiding them somewhere? If that's the case, how do I find them?

First you have to have a file manager..or the simple stock Files that comes with your phone will do..then go to sd card..then look for the "call recordings"(once your phone records the very first call, it will create that file)..so your conversation will be there..

I found a few very short recordings but they all seem to be background noise. I did use voice recorder instead of (possibly in addition to) Call Recorder. What am I doing wrong?

I decided to "practice" by calling a friend's answering machine and recording that. I still haven't had any luck. Once again it's just some kind of background noise. How the heck am I ever going to use this thing?

Bro, exact same thing happened to me..all weird steps noise..then some how I hit it right..it was experimenting..I think the phones come with that feature suppressed..I guess for privacy purposes..but some way you brake it through

I know that this is an old post, but there is a VOIP app called Dingtone that is very simple to set up and use.

It has a call recording feature that works and sounds well, without any difficulty.
