Root recovery help

ok got the phone rooted now i want to install recovery.
what is the easiest way to go with. i already downloaded recovery.tar
also cwm recovery.tar just in case the 1st don't work and puma v6 kernel
i'm on android 2.2.2 froyo 2eb phone model sph-m920 thanks

thanks ok install cwm then pumav6 kernel now i need a simple rom what do you recomend.??also when making a back up what is the best method to use tar or sdx or image back up.
also what is a simple rom to install . thanks

Sorry for the delay in replying

This is where Google can be your best friend. Search for 2 or 3 of the top ROMs and give each one a test drive for several days on your Transform to see which one you and YOUR phone like best.

Just make SURE to make a nandroid backup just BEFORE flashing anything! That way, you can always restore back to that last known good state if things should go wrong.
