Help recovery of data

my memos got deleted ..and i want to get them back because they were important to me.. please help find me a solution to this..

What app and where were they stored? Also might be useful to know what device and whether it is rooted, and what backup options you have (e.g. is the setting to allow Google to back up app data to its servers enabled)?

yes it was rooted and i have samsung device. And i am not sure about the backup .The memos were saved in the phone.

If they are on a removable sd card and you have Windows you don't need to pay for recovery software either. Avoid products which claim to be specially for phones, just install Recuva (free), stick the card in a card reader and you are golden.

But yeah, stuff that's actually on internal storage is very tough to recover. Keeping backups is always important (regardless of location - removable cards break or phones get lost as well).
