I have an Android Version 5.0.1 tablet O+ dual SIM.
Every time I boot I receive 1 old SMS then after a few minutes of operation 1 receive another 3 SMS.
One SMS is from my current telco and the other 3 are from a telco that I no longer use and the SIM is no longer valid and is disconnected.
I deleted all message apps and installed a new one but I still receive the same SMS whichever app I use for messages. I clear the data and the cache bit still the messages come and I delete them but when I restart the device I get the same SMS again.
It drives me crazy! Obviously these old messages are stored somewhere in the system and somehow the message app receives them as if they are new messages.
Can anyone advise where these messages might be stored and how they get to the messaging app?
