Recycle Bin Emptying on Note 4

I just *deleted* a bunch of large image files. I assume they have gone into a recycle bin or equivalent. I need more space on my Note 4. Nobody seems to know how this bin can be emptied. (Files permanently deleted thus freeing up space.) I've been researching this for weeks and have received no useable method explaining how to do this. Why is this such an unusual question?? Thanks.

Simple way how to move your files, is try to plug in the charging cord to your comp and simply drag and drop them off there, that way you can still have your files on a different drive.

There's no Recycle Bin or Trash Can type feature on a Galaxy Note4 AFAIK, not with the stock My Files app anyway. How did you actually delete the files, using My Files, or a computer, or something else?

More recent Samsung do have a Recycle Bin feature in their My Files app though, like the Note20 and S21, which operates in the same way as on a PC or a Mac.

Did you delete them in the Google Photos app? That has a trash can.

Empty your trash
If you see a request to "Delete permanently" when you try to move an item to trash, your trash is full. Your trash can hold 1.5GB.

Important: If you empty your trash, you permanently delete any items in your trash.

To empty it:
  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Photos app.
  2. Sign in to your Google Account.
  3. At the bottom, tap Library > Trash > More > Empty Trash > Delete permanently.
Remove an item from your device
To permanently delete an item from your device:
  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Photos app.
  2. Sign in to your Google Account.
  3. Select the items you want to delete from your Android phone or tablet.
  4. In the top right, tap More > Delete from device.
